I was in a dance about architecture once. I think I was 9, and the choreographer was this really intense old lady. The dance was angular and severe, and the costumes were full-body (and face) black bodystockings. It was the only time I ever got re-cast out of a dance in my life. I was the littlest dancer in that one, and the worst, and the most miserable—so they took me out and put me in an easier, less weird piece.
Which is to say that dancing about architecture can be done, but maybe not by small and untalented children.

you know, I always thought architecture would be a perfectly interesting subject for an interpretive dance. Also I adore OMD’s Architecture & Morality. Music about architecture : writing about dancing?
